Welcome to my personal website! Let's stay connected!

I am a Master's student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Computer Science. Previously, I was an undergraduate student in the UIUC department of Electrical & Computer Engineering.

My research focuses on mathematical and information-theoretic aspects of quantum information theory.

"Mayank is a highly motivated and capable student who I expect to achieve great things in academia and beyond. I have been mentoring and supervising him in undergraduate research programs at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since the 2022 Spring term. In this time Mayank has studied mathematical and information-theoretic aspects of quantum information theory, and solved research-level problems together with undergraduate researchers under my supervision. In the current academic year 2023-24 Mayank is writing a senior thesis with me. It has been, and continues to be, a pleasure supervising him and engaging with him in discussions."
Felix Leditzky ,

Professor of Mathematics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

"Mayank was an outstanding intern who made significant contributions to our team's real-time bidding model based on reinforcement learning. He demonstrated exceptional intelligence, a strong work ethic, and a passion for machine learning. Mayank's attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to high-quality work were evident in his ability to identify critical insights and improve our project. He excelled in teamwork and communication, actively seeking feedback and fostering collaboration. Mayank's eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges set him apart, and I have no doubt he will continue to excel in his career. I highly recommend Mayank to any organization seeking a talented individual with expertise in reinforcement learning and machine learning."
